   Much earlier on my focus was on AQHA halter horses and western pleasure horses (from a very long show career and basic horse involvement of over 50 years) ….since the WP movement has so radically tanked with horses that are unable to move because of the degree that “trainers” have interfered with their movement and way of going (with the “spur stops and all the other nonsense that has been foisted off on these horses, a travesty), I’ve changed my focus to NRCHA working cow horses. (Will the WP horses ever return to a decent way of moving? I have my doubts)….We absolutely love the working cow horses and have become real aficionados of this working division. We attend the NRCHA Reno Snaffle Bit Futurity every year, and this year will also attend “The Californios” in Reno to watch those hard working, highly skilled buckaroos of the Great Basin and their wonderful bridle horses.
