OREGON HORSE WELFARE COUNCIL
“Saving Horses / Helping People”
October 16, 2009
1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Coldwell Banker Morris Real Estate
486 SW Bluff Dr., Bend, OR 97702
We hope to take a retrospective view of the past year, examine what progress we’ve made, where we are succeeding, and where we can improve. Please start thinking now about new ideas, new members, new goals, and new programs.
Following the meeting of the Oregon Horse Welfare Council, there will be a presentation by Heidi Hopkins, Wild Horse Program Manager for the Humane Society of the United States, “America’s Wild Horses: Managing for the Future.” Heidi will describe the work being done to manage wild equine populations in a humane and sustainable manner. It promises to be highly informative for all of us concerned about the future of our wild herds.
Plan to venture out with us that evening for more fun and socializing!
See you all there!
