LOAFA was developed by the OSU Extension Service in Central Oregon to provide educational workshops that focus on the needs of those living on small acreages.
This event will include featured speakers and classes covering a variety of topics such as: cooperative community supported agricultural programs, first aid for livestock, urban poultry production, irrigation and pasture management, growing crops in Central Oregon, wildlife habitats and more.
A tractor safety training and driving class will also be featured.
A trade show will bring together equipment dealers, trade association representatives and people from agricultural agencies who can help you with your financial, operational and management needs. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn and network with other land owners.
